Calling children who like fun! Get the most out of your summer holiday with an action packed week of amazing activities.
Carefully crafted to maximize enjoyment, Savvy Summer has created a programme of activities to fill the summer with fun, come rain or shine!
Open to all children from the age of 5 to 11 this is a unique opportunity to participate in a range of sports and creative activities; fencing, dance, basketball, football, media, art and craft, drama, tag rugby and many more.
Savvy is a new company based in Cornwall established to offer top quality activities to children. Founded by Aidan Doyle (Deputy Head at Penpol School) and Clare Meardon (Established Dancer, Choreographer and Actress) the company combines a perfect balance of creativity, experience and safety.
Clare from Savvy Summer says, “All our instructors have been carefully considered to ensure that each individual child, regardless of their ability, enjoys a positive and rewarding experience.”
“Our ultimate aim is to offer each child the opportunity to experience an exciting and fun filled week, promoting self-confidence, exercise and helping them to develop new friendships.”
Savvy Summer builds on the success of Savvy Dance, a regular dance class run by the same team in schools around the county. Children from Savvy Dance have already wowed audiences at Heartlands with their energetic and exciting style of dance and have subsequently been invited to perform at Hayle in Bloom this June.
Savvy Summer Activities will take place for 4 weeks at Penpol School between 23rd July and 17th August.
The days will run from Monday to Friday, 9am til 3pm in line with the normal school times with a buffer zone allowing parents to drop their children off at 8.40am and collect them at 3.20 at no extra costs.
All children between 5 and 11 are welcome!
